Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and combat clone strategy commanded by Muddle, the Ever-Changing. The game plan revolves around deploying high-utility nonlegendary creatures and using cheap one-mana instants or sorceries to transform Muddle into a copy with myriad. When Muddle attacks, myriad creates token copies for each opponent, multiplying enter-the-battlefield abilities, card draw, and combat damage. Standout synergies include taking multiple combat phases with Combat Celebrant and Port Razer, generating burn with Terror of the Peaks, and drowning opponents in cards with Mulldrifter and Aether Channeler. The list also features a two-card infinite combo between Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror that creates infinite flying dragon tokens with haste. Backed by solid interaction, hexproof equipment, and redundant token generators like Rionya, Fire Dancer and Vesuvan Duplimancy, the deck applies lethal pressure starting around Turn 5 and regularly finishes games on Turn 6.
