Format: Commander

Commander: Admiral Beckett Brass

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Admiral Beckett Brass fronts a Grixis Pirate value deck, but the real engine is in the 99: Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator is effectively the hidden commander. The primary plan is to deploy evasive Pirates, generate Treasures from combat damage, and convert those resources into card advantage and a big swing. The fastest finish is Malcolm plus Glint-Horn Buccaneer: once Glint-Horn connects, each discard/draw cycle pings all opponents and Malcolm replaces the Treasures, making the loop lethal. If that line is broken, Port Razer extra combat, anthem effects, and Brass's theft, backed by recursion from Admiral Brass, Unsinkable, provide a slower but still functional beatdown path.
