Deck overview

This Sultai deck harnesses Teval, the Balanced Scale as an engine commander that bridges self-mill, land recursion, and token creation. Early turns focus on establishing mana through land-based ramp and filling the graveyard with enablers like Entomb, Grisly Salvage, and Life from the Loam. Once Teval attacks on Turn 4, it recovers lands and generates 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens whenever cards leave the graveyard. In the mid-game, the deck compounds board presence using recursive powerhouses such as Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Conduit of Worlds, and Insidious Roots. It transitions into a lethal win condition around Turn 6 by deploying Syr Konrad, the Grim or aristocrat sacrifice loops involving Warren Soultrader, Phyrexian Altar, Gravecrawler, and Al Bhed Salvagers. This drains the table while token swarms close out the game by Turn 8.
