Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Group Slug strategy commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. The deck accelerates early mana to deploy Winter on turns 3-4, immediately turning on a symmetrical card draw engine that generates two extra cards per player on upkeep. The deck's primary axis pairs this forced card draw with damage punishers like Underworld Dreams, Fate Unraveler, Spiteful Visions, and Megrim. Concurrently, diverse card types in the graveyard activate Winter's delirium ability, shrinking opponents' maximum hand sizes down to two or three cards. As opponents draw heavily, they take continuous damage on draw steps and suffer additional discard punishment at end steps. The deck closes games between turns 5 and 7 by resolving mass wheel spells such as Khorvath's Fury and Magus of the Wheel, turning opponents' forced draw and discard steps into lethal damage.
