Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya midrange strategy built around Black Panther, Wakandan King, combining +1/+1 counter manipulation, big-mana artifacts, and the Monarch mechanic. The early game focuses on deploying Black Panther and low-cost creatures to store counters on lands via Survey the Realm. In the midgame, the deck activates Mine Vibranium to transfer those counters onto key threats, generating steady life buffer and card draw while establishing defensive attack taxes like Ghostly Prison and Windborn Muse. As the board expands with tokens from Dancing from Dark to Dawn and Maja, Bretagard Protector, the deck transitions into a lethal combat finish on Turn 7 using overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede, Bast, Panther Goddess, and Ulvenwald Oddity. While vulnerable to exile sweepers and lacking fast tutors, the deck maintains high resilience through independent token generation and strong card replenishment.
