Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is helmed by Vivi Ornitier, a mana-generating wizard in the command zone who grows with every noncreature spell and also deals incidental damage. The primary game plan revolves around chaining instants and sorceries-copying them, generating storm counts, and assembling one of several infinite mana or deterministic kill combos. The deck wins through Brain Freeze storm, Thassa's Oracle after drawing most of the library, the Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity combo, or infinite loops with Isochron Scepter / Dramatic Reversal or Peregrine Drake + Displacer Kitten. Vivi provides accelerating mana and a pinging clock, but the combos live almost entirely in the 99, making the commander a powerful engine rather than an essential piece.
