Dragons and Otters by Glonky

Format: Commander

Commander: Shiko and Narset, Unified

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Shiko and Narset, Unified is the deck's four-mana flurry engine: the second spell each turn becomes either a copied spell or an extra card. The primary plan is to cast the commander early, then chain cheap instants and sorceries fueled by Kykar, Whirlwind of Thought, and Archmage Emeritus, ending in a massive combat step powered by Stormsplitter, Rite of the Dragoncaller, and Jeskai Ascendancy. The copy mode is almost a side benefit; the draw mode is what keeps the chain alive. A secondary drain line via Electrostatic Field and Coruscation Mage racks up incidental damage during the chain. There is no hidden commander; Kykar is the best backup generator if Shiko is removed.
