pinging in the rain by user5600537

Format: Commander

Commander: Inalla, Archmage Ritualist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Inalla, Archmage Ritualist helms a Grixis Wizard tribal spellslinger deck that leverages her eminence to copy Wizards for value while generating a relentless stream of 0/1 black Wizard tokens that ping each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The primary win condition is to accumulate damage through these pings, amplified by cards like Kuja, Genome Sorcerer (doubles damage), Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Black Waltz No. 3. The deck also packs a potent control suite of counterspells and removal, extra turns for chaining value, and finishers like Aetherflux Reservoir, Exsanguinate, and Torment of Hailfire. It grinds out incremental advantage before closing with a big mana spell or a critical mass of pings.
