Deck overview

This competitive Izzet storm deck utilizes Vivi Ornitier as a combination mana ritual, card advantage outlet, and game-ending win condition. Powered by format-ceiling fast mana rocks and efficient cantrips, the deck deploys Vivi on Turn 2 and immediately begins leveraging noncreature spells to accumulate +1/+1 counters and tap for explosive mana bursts. The primary win condition revolves around imprinting Dramatic Reversal onto Isochron Scepter. Because Vivi triggers on every noncreature spell cast to burn all opponents, casting infinite Reversal copies eliminates the entire table simultaneously without requiring combat. Alternatively, enchanting Vivi with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye turns every noncreature spell into a draw-three engine, storming through the deck until reaching Aetherflux Reservoir or the IsoRev combo. Defended by an industry-standard suite of free countermagic, the deck consistently threatens protected Turn 3 victories.
