I'm Throwing Away My Deck, Jojo! by user1357660

Format: Commander

Commander: Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy and Scion of Halaster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gale, Waterdeep Prodigy partnered with Scion of Halaster is a Dimir spells-matter engine. Scion turns every first draw into a one-card mill plus a filtered draw, filling the graveyard for Gale to double-cast instants and sorceries. The deck uses that engine to dig into cost reducers and card-draw wizards, then converts spell volume into Aetherflux Reservoir life, a large Torment of Hailfire, or a Jace self-mill. Reanimation targets like Archon of Cruelty and Valgavoth give an alternate beatdown route. The plan is control-oriented rather than linear: hold up counters, accrue value through Wizards, and later turn accumulated spells or graveyard size into a kill.
