Deck overview

This deck is a non-green five-color control and polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The deck pairs low-cost, repeatable token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Kher Keep with an exceptionally dense package of high-end, game-warping creatures. Rather than hardcasting its 6-to-11 mana threats, the primary game plan accelerates into Jace on Turn 4 or 5 and activates his −3 ability to trade a disposable token for an overwhelming beater like Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, or Serra's Emissary. A robust suite of two-mana mana rocks fixes the demanding WUBRG mana base, while top-tier interaction including Swords to Plowshares, Void Rend, and Sunfall ensures board parity is broken. While lacking deterministic combo finishes, the deck overwhelms the table through asymmetric combat beats and heavy attrition.
