Deck overview

This Esper list is a focused Reanimator Combo deck helmed by Sefris of the Hidden Ways. The primary game plan revolves around filtering high-impact creatures into the graveyard using cheap looting creatures and self-mill, then returning them well ahead of curve via efficient reanimation spells. The premier deterministic win line combines Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward with an aura like Animate Dead or Dance of the Dead to generate infinite enters-the-battlefield triggers and an unbounded token army, or an instant kill with Altar of Dementia. Alternatively, the deck can reanimate asymmetric powerhouses such as Toxrill, the Corrosive, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, or Razaketh, the Foulblooded to dominate the board. Sacrificial protection creatures double as dungeon venture triggers for Sefris, creating a highly synergistic engine that remains resilient against standard removal suites.
