Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Ninja tempo-aggro strategy commanded by Dark Leo & Shredder. The primary game plan establishes early evasive attackers such as Changeling Outcast and Aven Skirmisher on turn one, followed by deploying Dark Leo on turn two. By attacking each turn, Dark Leo creates 1/1 black Ninja tokens that benefit from attacking deathtouch. The deck rapidly scales its Ninja count through low-cost Ninjas and sneak spells like The Last Ronin's Technique. Upon reaching five Ninjas by turn six, Dark Leo's combat damage trigger halves the defending player's life total rounded up. The deck then systematically eliminates each opponent over subsequent combat steps while utilizing single-target removal, edicts, and protection spells like Unbreakable Formation and Gods Willing to safeguard its attackers. While the deck generates explosive life-halving bursts, it relies almost entirely on natural land drops and remains vulnerable to sweepers.
