Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and token swarm strategy helmed by Ovika, Enigma Goliath. The primary objective is to develop mana through land drops and artifact ramp to cast Ovika safely. Once on the battlefield, Ovika converts every noncreature spell into an army of 1/1 red Phyrexian Goblin tokens with haste equal to that spell's mana value. The deck uses draw spells, burn, and utility sorceries to rapidly multiply its board presence, leveraging anthems like Banner of Kinship, damage multipliers like Gratuitous Violence, and entry triggers like Impact Tremors to finish all opponents. Supporting threats such as Hullbreaker Horror and Sphinx of the Final Word provide spell security and board control. Because the commander requires 7 mana, the list emphasizes steady card filtering and reactive counterspells to navigate the early game until its decisive token engine takes over.
