Toph the first metal bender by peaceout

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender turns every nontoken artifact into a land, which quietly unlocks the deck's fastest kill: Bumi, Unleashed plus a Liquimetal effect becomes a repeatably attacking land creature that chains extra combat phases. The primary game plan is therefore an artifact-assisted, counters-matter beatdown: ramp with rocks and land-fetch, earthbend lands into huge creatures, multiply their counters, and either swing through with trample/double strike or end the game with Mayael's Aria. The list leans heavily on alternate Tophs for redundancy. Bumi, Unleashed is the effective hidden commander; the actual commander is mostly an enabler for his loop. Secondary paths are value beatdown and counter-based combos.
