Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated four-color Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By completely omitting cheap creature cards from the 99, the deck guarantees that every polymorph effect puts a catastrophic high-mana threat directly onto the battlefield. Early turns focus on accelerating mana with two-mana rocks and deploying noncreature token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his -3 ability to exile a token, flipping directly into game-warping bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Jace's static ability taxes opponents {2} per creature attacking him, protecting his loyalty while the deck builds an insurmountable aerial army. Redundant polymorph spells like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny ensure consistent execution even if the commander is removed.
