Deck overview

Rootha, Mastering the Moment leads an Izzet spellslinger deck that converts high-impact instants and sorceries into massive flying, hasty Elemental tokens. The primary game plan involves generating mana through cost reducers and Treasure engines, casting large spells before combat, and crashing in with evasive token armies. When combat damage is not enough, the deck pivots into game-ending infinite combos, most notably Dualcaster Mage copying Twinflame or Replication Technique for unlimited hasty attackers. Alternate lines utilize Breath of Fury attached to fresh tokens for infinite combat steps, or an overloaded Mizzix's Mastery and Surge to Victory to overwhelm the table in a single explosive turn.
