Deck overview

This Golgari deck is commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General and operates as a high-synergy token swarm and aristocrats strategy. It accelerates into early mana using 1-2 CMC ramp pieces, deploying Chatterfang on Turn 3. On Turn 4, it establishes a continuous token engine using cards like Tireless Provisioner, Academy Manufactor, or Chitterspitter, which Chatterfang immediately doubles into 1/1 green Squirrel creature tokens. By Turn 5, the deck presents critical lethal pressure through wide anthem overruns like Beastmaster Ascension and Craterhoof Behemoth, or life-draining aristocrat loops via Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, and Zulaport Cutthroat. Chatterfang provides continuous, instant-speed creature removal using Squirrel sacrifice fodder to control opposing threats. An incidental infinite combo between Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak provides an alternate infinite token win condition. The deck finishes games reliably on Turn 6 through overwhelming combat damage or table-wide life loss.
