Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Pirate combo build led by Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar. The primary game plan revolves around leveraging early combat triggers to generate immense Treasure mana, followed by assembling an immediate infinite damage loop. When Malcolm and Kediss attack, Malcolm deals combat damage to one opponent and noncombat damage to the others, generating three Treasures per combat step. The deck converts this mana velocity into a game-ending combo with Glint-Horn Buccaneer. Once Glint-Horn Buccaneer attacks, activating its ability to discard and draw triggers its damage ability against all three opponents, which in turn causes Malcolm to produce three Treasures. Sacrificing two of those Treasures pays for the next activation, netting positive mana and dealing lethal damage to the table in a single combat step. Robust countermagic, redundant transmute tutors, and backup combos like Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame provide high resilience and execution consistency.
