Primo! - Fractals! by ars3nd

Format: Commander

Commander: Primo, the Unbounded

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Simic deck helmed by Primo, the Unbounded is a +1/+1 counters and X-spell toolbox that scales into the late game. The commander enters with a variable number of counters and can generate 0/0 Fractal tokens each time a base-power-0 creature (including itself) deals combat damage. The 99 is packed with counter doublers (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal), X-cost hydras (Hydroid Krasis, Genesis Hydra, Goldvein Hydra), and token-creation engines (Paradox Zone, Fractal Harness). The primary win path is overwhelming combat damage from enormous creatures, augmented by proliferate effects and protection spells. The deck runs no infinite combos, instead relying on incremental value, resilient board states, and a dense interaction suite to outlast opponents.
