Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Polymorph control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By excluding all low-mana creatures from the 99, the deck guarantees that every Polymorph effect hits a high-impact bomb such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Archon of Cruelty, or Serra's Emissary. The early game focuses on deploying cheap, noncreature token generators like Bitterblossom, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller alongside 2-mana artifact ramp. On Turn 4, Jace enters and uses his −3 ability to exile a token and put a devastating threat onto the battlefield. From there, the deck locks opponents out of resources through severe asymmetric attrition and finishes the game with massive flying combat damage. A suite of top-deck manipulation cards ensures that drawn creatures can be placed back into the library, while cheap interaction protects your board.
