Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dragon tribal strategy commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragons by one generic mana right from the command zone. Supported by an optimized five-color mana base featuring original dual lands and green land ramp, the deck accelerates into devastating dragon engines by Turn 4. Permanents like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Temur Ascendancy, and Dragon Tempest multiply the impact of subsequent dragon spells. On Turn 5, deploying threats like Terror of the Peaks, Old Gnawbone, or Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient creates an immediate must-answer board that generates overwhelming mana and deals lethal flying damage. Protection spells like Heroic Intervention and Dragonlord Dromoka shield the board against removal, while massive draw spells like Stinging Study and Tiamat provide seamless recovery against sweepers.
