Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir self-mill and reanimator strategy helmed by Emet-Selch, Unsundered. The primary game plan revolves around deploying the commander early, utilizing his enter-the-battlefield and attack triggers to loot while aggressively filling the graveyard with enablers like Stitcher's Supplier, Curate, and Glimpse the Unthinkable. Once fourteen cards accumulate in the graveyard, Emet-Selch transforms into Hades, Sorcerer of Eld, providing a continuous Yawgmoth's Will effect during the controller's turns. From this dominant position, the deck casts massive game-ending spells directly from the graveyard, such as Rise of the Dark Realms, Massacre Wurm, and extra-turn spells like Temporal Manipulation. While lacking the hyper-efficient fast mana and compact combos of competitive tables, it maintains strong mid-game resilience and formidable combat finishes.
