Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger Aggro list commanded by Fire Lord Azula. The strategy focuses on casting Fire Lord Azula, attacking to generate free Firebending mana, and casting instant-speed combat tricks and burn spells during combat to trigger her spell-copying ability. By doubling spells like Run Amok, Water Wings, and Lightning Strike, the deck rapidly inflates commander damage and clears blocking creatures. Backup engines like Double Vision, Melek, Reforged Researcher, and Archmage Emeritus provide additional spell velocity and card flow. While the deck possesses a rich suite of low-cost defensive instants to shield its commander, it lacks tutors and must close out games through sequential combat steps, eliminating opponents across multiple turns.
