Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Naya landfall and land-animation strategy commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph converts nontoken artifacts into lands and animates lands into resilient 2/2 haste creatures that return tapped when they die or are exiled. The deck accelerates through low-cost ramp spells and explosive mana engines like Lotus Cobra, Tireless Provisioner, and Gaea's Cradle. It rapidly accumulates land drops to trigger potent token generators such as Scute Swarm, Felidar Retreat, and Omnath, Locus of Rage. Once a wide board is established, the deck transitions into lethal damage via Scapeshift, Craterhoof Behemoth, or double strike from Toph, Greatest Earthbender, supplemented by direct landfall burn from Sabotender and Tannuk, Memorial Ensign. Key utility pieces like Sylvan Safekeeper and Deflecting Swat protect the engine from targeted disruption while heavy sweepers clear opposing boards.
