Deck overview

This deck is a combat-focused spellslinger strategy led by Fire Lord Azula. Azula generates {R}{R} firebending mana whenever she attacks and duplicates every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck leverages this ability by casting instant-speed power-doublers and pump spells—such as Unleash Fury, Bulk Up, and Fists of Flame—during the combat phase. When copied by Azula, these spells multiply her power exponentially, allowing her to eliminate opponents in single combat swings via commander damage. In parallel, magecraft and burn permanents like Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, Guttersnipe, and Fiery Inscription trigger from both the original cast and the copied spells, generating continuous card draw, Treasure tokens, and table-wide burn. While the deck possesses explosive single-turn damage and strong mana velocity, it lacks heavy stack protection and dedicated tutors, relying on aggressive combat sequencing to close the game before opponents assemble answers.
