Gixboi, Sicboi by Tursoliini

Format: Commander

Commander: Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aggro-value deck helmed by Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor, built around a swarm of evasive one-drops - shadow creatures like Dauthi Slayer and Nether Traitor, unblockable bodies like Tormented Soul and Changeling Outcast, and flying threats - that connect to trigger Gix's combat-draw: each creature that deals combat damage to an opponent lets its controller pay 1 life to draw a card. That card advantage fuels a mid-game finish through Aetherflux Reservoir (chain spells, gain life, pay 50 life to nuke), a massive Exsanguinate powered by Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drain, Bolas's Citadel spell-chaining, or Psychosis Crawler draw-drain. Gix's second ability exiles opponents' top cards and lets you cast them free, adding a theft dimension. The deck is a value engine that grinds into a big-mana or spell-chain kill.
