Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Black Zombie tribal strategy led by Ghoulcaller Gisa. It focuses on curving out with synergistic Zombie creatures and sacrifice fodder, using Gisa to double creature power into wide boards of 2/2 Zombie tokens. Tribal lords such as Death Baron, Cemetery Reaper, and Undead Warchief buff the token army with increased power, deathtouch, and menace to close games through combat damage. Aristocrat pieces including Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel convert creature deaths and black devotion into direct life drain. The deck relies on natural card flow from engines like Cryptbreaker and Graveborn Muse alongside recursive threats like Gravecrawler. While it generates formidable combat boards and resilient creature loops, it lacks stack interaction, artifact removal, and swift protection, making it vulnerable to sweepers.
