Pirating by EchoedLies

Format: Commander

Commander: Edward Kenway

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edward Kenway helms a Grixis Pirate/Assassin/Vehicle tribal deck built around combat-damage value and treasure acceleration. The commander generates a Treasure token for each tapped Assassin, Pirate, or Vehicle at the end of your turn, and exiles cards from opponents' libraries whenever a Vehicle you control deals combat damage - letting you play those cards. The game plan is to deploy a swarm of evasive pirates and vehicles, use the resulting treasure windfall to fuel extra combats and cascade, then finish with Port Razer and Overpowering Attack chains. Angrath's Marauders doubles damage, while Admiral Brass, Unsinkable and Back in Town provide recursion. The deck is a midrange value engine that turns opponents' spells into your own resources.
