Tidus Counter's by user6771925

Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian leads a Bant +1/+1 counter deck that wins by turning a wide, proliferated board into lethal combat damage. The primary plan is to put counters on Tidus and evasive attackers, use his combat trigger to draw and proliferate, then finish with Triumph of the Hordes or Simic Ascendancy. A compact infinite-damage line with Gatta and Luzzu, Hardened Scales, and Walking Ballista is the secondary path. Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus acts as a hidden commander, doubling every proliferate trigger, while Deepglow Skate and The Earth Crystal multiply counters. The deck is resilient because counter engines are interchangeable, but it lacks tutors, so it wins through incremental card advantage rather than a single deterministic combo.
