Deck overview

This is a highly tuned The Gitrog Monster Dredge combo deck that aims to assemble the classic Dakmor Salvage loop. The primary game plan is to accelerate into Gitrog, establish a discard outlet and Dakmor Salvage, then use the Gitrog's draw trigger to dredge through the library, eventually hitting a shuffle titan (Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre) to loop infinitely. This draws the entire deck and fills the graveyard, enabling a win via Grist, the Hunger Tide's -5 ability or the drain from Polluted Cistern // Dim Oubliette. The deck is packed with fast mana (rituals, dorks, Mana Vault, Sol Ring) and an extensive tutor suite, allowing it to execute the combo as early as turn 3-4. Backup plans include value plays with Ramunap Excavator and Life from the Loam, but the deck is heavily reliant on its commander for the primary win.
