Deck overview

This Mardu deck pairs Akiri, Line-Slinger and Armix, Filigree Thrasher to execute a combat-focused Treasure aggro and midrange burn strategy. The primary game plan revolves around generating a high density of Treasure tokens through early combat equipment and passive enchantments. These tokens simultaneously accelerate mana, grow Akiri, Line-Slinger into a lethal first-striking threat, and fuel Armix, Filigree Thrasher's repeatable creature-removal ability. In the mid-to-late game, the deck converts accumulated Treasure hoards into table-wide victories through mass combat overruns using Vihaan, Goldwaker, Draconic Visitor, and Craterclaw Colossus, or through massive life-drain spells like Debt to the Deathless and Exsanguinate. Supported by efficient spot removal and dependable card-advantage engines like Professional Face-Breaker and Black Market Connections, the deck maintains strong board pressure but remains vulnerable to mass artifact sweepers and lacks instant-speed stack interaction.
