Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul token-midrange and burn strategy led by Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Guild Artisan. The primary game plan deploys Wilson on Turn 2 and Guild Artisan on Turn 3. Because Wilson has vigilance, trample, and ward {2}, he safely attacks the player with the highest life total each combat, reliably generating two Treasure tokens every turn. The deck uses this accelerated mana curve to cast token amplifiers like Academy Manufactor and Peregrin Took, followed by high-impact finishers such as Displaced Dinosaurs, Depthshaker Titan, and Warp World by Turn 6. Incidental burn from Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist whittles down life totals while massive trampling tokens overwhelm blockers. The deck features strong redundancy across token payoffs and resilient commander traits, though it relies on combat connections and remains vulnerable to artifact board wipes.
