Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages King of the Oathbreakers to build an elusive, evasive Spirit army through spell-targeting phasing triggers. The core engine uses cheap targeting spells like Rabid Attack, Remedy, and Light of Hope to phase out the commander and other Spirits, dodging targeted interaction while spawning 1/1 flying Spirit tokens upon their return. Acceleration relies on seven low-mana rocks and rituals, enabling Turn 4 commander deployment and Turn 5 engine activation. The deck compounds advantage via draw engines like Enduring Innocence and Welcoming Vampire, while protecting its board with Sephara, Sky's Blade and Galadriel's Dismissal. Critical pressure builds on Turn 7 through exponential pump effects such as Cathars' Crusade or direct life drain from Mirkwood Bats, culminating in an aerial combat finish on Turn 9 with Moonshaker Cavalry. While resilient against single-target removal, the list remains vulnerable to mass exile effects, requiring careful timing of phasing enablers.
