Kuja by user9283058

Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger deck wins by turning a growing army of 0/1 Wizards and pinger creatures into group burn. The commander, Kuja, creates a Wizard each end step and transforms into Trance Kuja, doubling all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck then chains discounted instants and sorceries-boosted by Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne, City on Fire, and Artist's Talent-to ping all opponents for lethal damage, with Bolas's Citadel and Chandra allowing the chain to go long. It is not an all-in combo deck: it has a flexible removal/redirect core, but it is vulnerable to board wipes and enchantment-based speed limits.
