Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Ms. Bumbleflower, focusing on a political Group Hug shell that converts symmetric card draw and low-cost double-spelling into an asymmetric advantage through +1/+1 counters and temporary flying. By deploying efficient early ramp and repeatable draw engines such as Selvala, Explorer Returned and Kwain, Itinerant Meddler, the deck ensures a continuous flow of fuel to trigger its commander's second-cast card draw on every turn. As the game progresses, it translates broad card velocity into game-ending pressure using massive self-scaling beaters like Kalonian Hydra and Managorger Hydra, or alternate win conditions including Simic Ascendancy, Twenty-Toed Toad, and Triskaidekaphile. While generous group draw accelerates opponents and exposes key permanents to removal, defensive tools like Baird, Steward of Argive, Promise of Loyalty, and Perch Protection deter aggressive retaliation until an overwhelming airborne strike or alternate trigger secures victory.
