War of the Cycle by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Niv-Mizzet Reborn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color value midrange deck built around Niv-Mizzet Reborn's ETB, which reveals ten cards and nets a hand of two-color spells. The primary plan is to cast the commander early, refuel with five to six cards, then grind out opponents with a planeswalker-heavy board and multiple Niv-Mizzets. The Firemind/Parun draw-ping engine provides reach, while Samut, Ajani, and Finale of Devastation turn a critical mass into a lethal attack. A secondary amass/planeswalker synergy package with Bioessence Hydra and token producers can also go wide. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through incremental combat and direct damage, which makes its goldfish slower than combo builds.
