Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Blue control and combo deck commanded by Orvar, the All-Form. The strategy leverages Orvar's ability to duplicate permanents whenever you target them with cheap instants and sorceries. In the early game, the deck accelerates its mana base by copying basic Island cards with one-mana spells such as Whim of Volrath, Mind Bend, and Cerulean Wisps. Once established, the deck transitions into asymmetric board control with Dismiss into Dream and Hullbreaker Horror, or initiates an infinite card draw and mana loop using Coveted Jewel and buyback spells. Alternatively, the deck casts high-impact sea monsters like Stormtide Leviathan, Scourge of Fleets, and Master of Waves, cloning them to build an unblockable, lethal combat force. Supported by an efficient counterspell suite and mass bounce wipes, the deck protects its commander while dismantling opposing boards.
