Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is built around Kona, Rescue Beastie, leveraging non-combat tap enablers to trigger Kona's Survival ability on the turn it enters play. By deploying 1-drop mana dorks, equipment, or utility lands that can tap an untapped creature, the deck casts Kona on Turn 3 and immediately cheats high-impact permanents like Portal to Phyrexia, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, or Vaultborn Tyrant directly onto the battlefield. Once a massive threat is established, power-based draw spells like Greater Good and Rishkar's Expertise rapidly refill the hand with additional game-ending payloads. Backup engines including Eladamri, Korvecdal and Savage Order ensure the deck can bypass Kona if needed. The deck finishes games on Turn 5 by granting the entire board trample, haste, and massive power boosts through Craterhoof Behemoth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, or Akroma's Memorial to eliminate all three opponents simultaneously.
