Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with a damage-trigger draw aura such as Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or soulbonding with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cast draws three cards. As Vivi gains +1/+1 counters, its {0} mana activation produces large bursts of mana, fueling continuous chains of cheap cantrips, rituals, and free spells to burn the entire table out in a single turn. The deck is reinforced by an exceptional free interaction suite including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Force of Will, and features Niv-Mizzet, Parun as a powerful independent backup win condition.
