Deck overview

This is a Jeskai artifact-themed combat deck helmed by the versatile Optimus Prime, Hero//Optimus Prime, Autobot Leader. The primary strategy revolves around deploying a dense artifact and equipment package, generating +1/+1 counters through the commander's bolster ability, and chaining multiple combat phases to overwhelm opponents. The deck leverages the "modified" creature theme (equipment, auras, counters) with cards like Akki Battle Squad, Godo, Bandit Warlord, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to create explosive combat turns. Key win conditions include infinite combat via Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host, overwhelming combat damage from the commander and other modified beaters, and the alternate condition of Hellkite Tyrant's twenty-artifact trigger. The deck is heavily reliant on its artifact core, with over 48% of the non-land deck being artifacts, and uses cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Foundry Inspector to stay ahead on tempo.
