Format: Commander

Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Squall, SeeD Mercenary leads an Orzhov equipment-and-voltron deck that attacks with one creature to trigger double strike and graveyard recursion. The deck aims to suit up Squall or another attacker with cheap equipment, make it unblockable or evasive, and convert combat damage into card advantage by returning permanents with mana value 3 or less. Secondary paths include token generation from Inquisitorial Rosette and Teysa, Orzhov Scion, plus a reanimation package with Sun Titan, Ghost Vacuum, and Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck is built around Squall's attack-alone trigger, with Peggy Carter and Black Widow as backup attackers that also reward attacking alone.
