Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir cheat strategy built around Satoru Umezawa. The primary game plan establishes an unblockable or evasive creature on the first two turns, deploys Satoru on turn 3, and uses Satoru's granted ninjutsu ability on turn 4 to cheat massive threats into play tapped and attacking. Cheating in Blightsteel Colossus eliminates one opponent immediately through 11 infect damage on turn 4, subsequently eliminating the remaining two players on turns 5 and 6. Alternatively, the deck cheats in Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur or Eldrazi titans to strip opposing hands and permanents. A dense suite of eight unconditional tutors ensures consistent access to game-ending creatures and a backup two-card infinite combo between Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. While the deck features strong proactive disruption and free protection from Fierce Guardianship and Spellskite, it runs minimal low-cost creature removal and requires Satoru to survive combat setup to cheat its highest-cost threats.
