Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth leads a dedicated mono-black combo deck that converts life into explosive mana advantage. By paying two life instead of black mana pips, you cast high-cost tutors and win conditions turns ahead of curve. The primary win condition pairs Professor Onyx with Chain of Smog to drain opponents through infinite Magecraft triggers. Alternatively, reanimation engines assemble Chainer, Dementia Master and Gray Merchant of Asphodel loops or Necrotic Ooze packages with Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar. Backed by fast mana, efficient tutors, and aggressive graveyard lines, the deck seeks to assemble and execute decisive combos before opponents establish defenses.
