Dina, Soul Steeper anchors a Golgari life-drain combo deck that aims to win via compact infinite loops. The primary path is **Exquisite Blood** + Dina (or Bloodthirsty Conqueror) for an unstoppable drain chain: any life gain triggers Dina, each opponent loses 1 life, which loops with the enchantment/conqueror. The secondary line uses **Protean Hulk** or a direct tutor to assemble **Walking Ballista** + **Mikaeus, the Unhallowed** + a free sacrifice outlet (e.g., Viscera Seer), creating infinite damage. The deck leverages a dense tutor suite (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Green Sun's Zenith, Finale of Devastation, Chord of Calling, etc.) and premium reanimation spells (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Entomb, Unmarked Grave) to consistently assemble these combos by turns 3-4.
