Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mai and Zuko is a Grixis artifact-value deck that treats the commander as a flash enabler rather than the engine. The real center is Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, backed by artifact cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor, Foundry Inspector, and Enthusiastic Mechanaut. That package lets the deck chain cheap artifacts, draw with Jhoira, Mystic Forge, and Sensei's Divining Top, and convert each artifact ETB into damage with Reckless Fireweaver and Hedron Detonator. Alternate wins come from Mechanized Production on duplicated artifacts and Revel in Riches fueled by Academy Manufactor and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine. Mirrorworks and Roaming Throne multiply triggers. Typical wins are mid-speed storm lines around turns six or seven, not fast infinite combos.
