Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Helmed by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, this is a lean Izzet spell-slinger/pinger build with an average mana value of 2.25. The core plan is to resolve one or more one-damage cast triggers like Firebrand Archer, Electrostatic Field, or Kessig Flamebreather, then let Ghyrson's three-autostub ability convert every 1-damage event into 3 total damage to that permanent or player. Cheap cantrips, removal, and copy effects both dig and burn while the commander turns them into a table-wide clock. The deck also carries compact combo finishes: Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout draws the deck and pings the table, while Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal generates infinite spell casts with a mana rock and any pinger or Grapeshot as an outlet. Underworld Breach and Past in Flames give the deck a graveyard-fueled storm backup.
