Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive combat-focused build led by Sonic the Hedgehog. It leverages creatures with flash and haste to establish early board presence, using Sonic's attack trigger to distribute +1/+1 counters and modify your creatures. As these modified creatures attack, high-end payoffs such as Akki Battle Squad, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Thundering Raiju provide extra combat steps and direct damage bursts. The deck also exploits Sonic's secondary ability by using damage effects like Pyrohemia and Cinderclasm to generate massive pools of tapped Treasure tokens when your own flash and haste creatures take damage. While the deck lacks universal tutors, it maintains high functional redundancy across its creature suite and protects its board with spells like Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm. It reliably establishes its engine by Turn 4 and closes out the game through overwhelming multi-combat steps by Turn 8.
