Deck overview

This deck pairs Marchesa, the Black Rose with the unique rule exception allowing nine copies of Nazgûl. The game plan focuses on accumulating +1/+1 counters through the Ring tempting mechanic and dethrone triggers. Marchesa turns these counters into an enduring recursion engine, returning any dying creature to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step. Card draw engines like Skullclamp and River Kelpie leverage this loop to generate massive card advantage. Secret Salvage functions as a premier tutor, pulling all remaining Nazgûl directly from library to hand once one enters the graveyard. Finishes are achieved through overwhelming combat steps led by Lord of the Nazgûl turning the Wraith horde into 9/9 attackers, or by repeatedly attacking with evasive, buffed deathtouch creatures that opponents cannot cleanly remove through conventional destroy effects.
