Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain tribal combat deck led by Loki, the Deceiver. The primary strategy focuses on deploying synergistic Villain creatures early, casting Loki, and attacking to create temporary nonlegendary token copies of key Villains. These copies amplify enter-the-battlefield triggers, combat effects, and board presence while drawing extra cards whenever Villains connect with opponents. The mid-to-late game scales using powerful payoffs such as The Squadron Sinister for global flying and stat buffs, Mysterio, Master of Illusion for wide token armies, and asymmetric disruption like Raise the Palisade and Archfiend of Depravity. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming combat pressure, supplemented by extra combat phases from Relentless Assault and Fury of the Horde. With an assembly turn of 4 and a critical onset on Turn 6, the deck presents a steady, combat-focused clock that converts aggression into card advantage.
